Managing Email Forwarding (TAMU email sent to TTI email)
As of March 2022, TTI email addresses which use the name@TTIMAIL.tamu.edu alias are no longer supported by TAMU or TTI, meaning any email sent to those addresses will not be able to be delivered. If you have previously had your TAMU email set to forward to your TTI email using the old TTIMAIL alias, you will need to follow the steps below to correct the forwarding address.
You will need to know your TAMU NetID and password for this process. If you do not know your NetID, please contact the TAMU helpdesk by phone at 979-845-8300 or by email at helpdesk@tamu.edu. You will need to provide proof of identity if you need to reset your password or do not know your NetID.
Go to https://gateway.tamu.edu and click “Log In”
Log in with your TAMU email address (username@tamu.edu) and password; do not use your TTI email address.
Authenticate using Duo
Now select “Email Settings”
If you have email forwarding set, meaning you have your name@tamu.edu email address forwarded to your name@tti.tamu.edu address, you will select “Edit” in the “Email Delivery” section
This is where you will choose to forward your TAMU email to your TTI email, if you wish to do so.
