How to perform optional Windows 11 Upgrade

Beginning in July, NIS has made available as an option upgrade for all eligible TTI PCs from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Starting on Monday October 14^th, this upgrade will change from optional to required for all eligible TTI PCs that do not currently have Windows 11 installed. This update will roll to approximately 100 PCs at the beginning of each week starting Monday October 14^th through Monday December 4^th.

Please note that this upgrade process can take 1-2 hours to complete, so it is recommended to perform the update on your own schedule while that option is available.

If you wish to perform this upgrade before the enforcement period begins on October 14^th, please follow these steps to initiate the upgrade:

To install the update now, select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update , and then select Check for updates. If your PC is eligible for the upgrade to Windows 11, you will see the following optional update as shown below.
