This article will walk you through fixing issues with Make Me Admin(MMA). Please refer to this article whenever Make Me Admin is giving errors and/or won't elevate your privileges when it had previously. Make Me Admin is only available to Researchers. If you are not a researcher and need a program installed, please open a support ticket with NIS. Researchers who do not have access to Make Me admin should do the same. Prerequisites Must be on the TTI Network, either through VPN or physically in any TTI office. Refresh Software Center Before anything else, we must refresh software center to make sure your machine has the latest software. Open the Control Panel If you haven't already, click on "View by:" and set to either Large or Small icons Click on Configuration Manager (2nd row, 2nd Column) Click on the Actions Tab in the Configuration Manager window Click on "Application Deployment Evaluation Cycle" > "Run Now" > then "OK" (The Run Now button is greyed out until you select one of the "Actions") Do the same with the "Machine Policy Retrieval & Evaluation Cycle" Software Center should be up to date now! Run the Make Me Admin Fix Open Software Center and look for MMA Fix under the Applications tab. Click on in then click on "install" The program will run quietly in the background. You will know if it is finished when the Status field changes to "Installed". The Install button should now say "Reinstall". This is normal and does not mean the installation failed. You may now open Make Me Admin and elevate your account privileges without issue! It is important to note that this is NOT a permanent fix for Make Me Admin. You may notice that after a few weeks or months, MMA will start giving you errors again. When that happens, run the MMA Fix from Software Center again by clicking the "Reinstall" button. If you are still having trouble with Make Me Admin, please open up a ticket by emailing helpdesk@ttihd.freshservice.com. …
